Job Description
A managed service specialist participates in all functions of the MSP service process. While the primary function centralizes on Level 2 or Level 3 technician tasks, they will also at times cover first-line support, function as client liaison, deploy new technology, assist business development with acquisition of new clients, on-board new clients, assist with the managing of products, services, and clients. The Managed Service Specialist must multi-task, prioritize, actively resolve tickets, enlist assistance from others in the team when needed, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Position Responsibilities:
§ Install and troubleshoot local and remote PCs, printers, networks, servers, domains, and email systems
§ Design and recommend network and domain configurations
§ General software and hardware troubleshooting
§ Provide technical support with Windows applications and operating systems
§ Client management
§ Training internal staff and customer base
§ Database management and support
Qualifications:
§ Strong troubleshooting skills
§ Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively
§ Work well within a team environment and be able to follow directions
§ Demonstrate strong work ethics and take ownership for own work
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a permanent full-time position. The hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Salary is negotiable, based on experience.
