Job: People (HR) Assistant

Salary: £25,219 per annum. This is a starting salary, and we offer clear progression routes as well as bi-annual reviews and excellent benefits.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Hybrid: This is a hybrid role primarily based from home, with occasional travel to our head office just outside of Maidstone (Kings Hill) and potentially other locations across the UK. You must reside in the UK and have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK. If you’d prefer to work from an office more regularly please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Job Summary
Are you a tenacious, hardworking individual that wants to be part of a fun and friendly People team? Are you keen to work for a company that puts its people first? Cloud21 Ltd is looking to recruit a People Assistant to join our fantastic team. This is a hybrid-based position and you will be required to attend our Head Office in Maidstone on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft all Employee and Associate contracts, and contract extensions.
- Undertaking people including identification, right to work, references and criminal record checks as required.
- Input employee/associate data and paperwork onto HRIS/ATS.
- Produce People Metrics cyclical and ad-hoc reports.
- Draft any Associate termination correspondence and updated systems accordingly.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team during key projects as required.
Personal Specification
- You’ll have experience of working in a successful and effective HR/People team, with a good understanding of core People processes.
- You’ll be passionate about developing a career in HR.
- You must have excellent communication skills, and remain calm and capable under pressure.
- You’ll also have meticulous attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
- You’ll need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and HRIS or other systems experience.
