Organization Overview: The Purchasing Department is responsible for the cost-effective and expeditious procurement of goods and services to support the scientific and administrative endeavors of The Rockefeller University. The Rockefeller University Purchasing Department, along with the Receiving and Stockroom Departments, help ensure that the equipment, supply, and service needs of the University are accomplished in a professional manner that also adheres to all legal requirements and best business practices. Overview:
The Invertory Control Clerk will oversee document retention and order processing for all the Stockroom transactions. Will also provide data entry and interpretation support for special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
The Inventory Control Clerk's responsibilities include the following:

Overseeing and processing inventory control

Receiving data, returns and credits for the Stockroom

Placing and maintaining orders
-
Managing inventory control of the stockroom

Processing returns to vendors on stockroom items

Other special projects and duties will be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required. Must have excellent customer services skills, verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft Suite skills, and data entry. Must be flexible for special assignments as per instruction of the Associate Director and/or the Chief Procurement Officer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse.

Compensation Range: Min: USD $43,000.00/Yr. Compensation Range: Max: USD $48,000.00/Yr.
