Role Summary:

This role is a combination of talent development, culture/teambuilding, and organizational development partnering. Work is a balance of strategic and hands-on tactical responsibilities. Responsibilities include assessing, designing, developing and implementing talent processes, development offerings, and systems; partnering with business leaders, teams and individual talent to enhance engagement, retention, and performance; and facilitating efforts and initiatives to improve the culture. Takes ownership for assigned programs, projects, and clients; acts as collaborative thought leader to bring best practices forward.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Applies highest level of expertise to address complex organizational, team, and individual effectiveness.
  • Implements VWGoA standards including leadership and competency models, culture initiatives, and talent processes while ensuring local resonance.
  • Designs, develops, implements and holds operational accountability for assigned HR talent processes and systems; seeks every opportunity to improvement the stakeholder/user experience.
  • Collaborates on design/development of training to support talent development and facilitates training.
  • Creates measures for success and maintains dashboards/reporting. Analyzes data, delivers meaningful data-driven insights, and powerful recommendations for change.
  • Aligns with HRLT and HR business partners on planning and prioritizing needs.
  • Provides strategic consulting to management on matters related to leadership and culture, team effectiveness, and key talent development.
  • Applies instructional design and performance consulting skills to develop training and other solutions for enhancing effectiveness and performance. Creates jobs aids and other resources as appropriate.
  • Assesses needs and facilitates team workshops, interventions and/or training to drive culture change, employee engagement and/or performance.
  • Coaches leaders and key talent to support leadership effectiveness and pipeline growth.
  • Facilitates individual and team assessments and follow up development support.
  • Collaborates with team, regional and global colleagues on areas of assigned responsibility.

Years of Relevant Experience:
  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in organization, leadership and talent development or equivalent. Expertise to include instructional design, development and implementation/delivery in the following areas: organization development consulting; leadership development, employee development, HR talent management processes and systems; employee experience, culture/team building, and organization change initiatives to improve the workplace.
Education - Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, organization change, training, or learning development
Education - Desired:
  • Master’s degree in related field of study
Skills:
  • Strong strategic, problem solving, analytical, systems thinking, and data-driven decision making skills.
  • Strong project and program management abilities, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead projects/teams/topics using influence.
  • Excellent communication skills; proven written, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Skilled in building relationships, credibility, trust and commitment stakeholders/colleagues.
  • Learning agility with ability to apply new practices and information in a constantly changing environment.
  • High level of customer-centricity and urgency.
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, integrated talent management systems and social media platforms.
  • Comfort with virtual/hybrid facilitation, coaching, and collaboration; willingness to continuously learn and utilize new technologies and eLearning applications.
Specialized Skills - Required:
  • Skilled in consulting and coaching leaders
  • Strong team facilitation and training skills
  • Expertise in design/delivery of leadership, learning and talent management solutions
  • Strong organizational/cultural change management skills
Specialized Skills - Desired:
  • Certifications in change management, coaching, and/or instructional design
  • Certified in Gallup CliftonStrengths and other professional talent/psychometric assessments
  • Experience applying cutting edge approaches and evolving technologies for continuous learning
Work Flexibility:
  • Hybrid classification currently requires two days in office and/or travelling for business purposes. Business needs may require additional days onsite as necessary. Flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time for offsite teambuilding, department/corporate events, and/or training facilitation.
