Thomas Allen's Managed Care Division is Hiring a Program Manager!
LOCATION: Burnsville
HOURS AVAILABLE: 15 hours/week. Can be combined with another role.
JOB SUMMARY: As the Program Manager in Managed Care, you will be the primary contact for health plan representatives and should ensure high-quality services are provided in accordance with health plan and DHS expectations. You will also be responsible for case assignment, hiring, training, and direct supervision of contracted care coordinators.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Recruitment and ensuring employees receive all required orientation information
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, training, and supervision to all personnel
- Completing performance evaluations
- Reviewing time cards and reimbursement claims
- Scheduling and supporting general office operations
- Ensuring insurance binders and licensure are submitted and up to date
- Ensuring all paperwork and records are accurate and up to date
- Manage the referral process
- Conduct quality assurance audits and assist with surveys
- Communicate with lead agencies and county representatives
- Review all billing forms, design policies and forms
- Attend meetings and training, be a positive representative of the company
- Complete other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited four-year college with a major in social work AND maintain licensure by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. It is required to hold an active temporary or permanent social work license upon start date if a social work degree was obtained; OR
- Graduate from an accredited four year college with a major in psychology, sociology or a closely related field ; OR
- Graduate from an accredited four year college with a major in any field and have one year experience as a Social Worker in a Public or Private Social Service Agency. Meeting the minimum qualifications of a social worker under the Minnesota Merit System (per Minnesota Rule 9575)
- At least 2 years of professional full-time Case Management experience OR in a related position AND at least 3 years of human services experience
- Knowledge of MA, Medicare, and MN Healthcare Programs strongly preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Background clearance
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbal
- Driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
