Marker Systems, located in North Tonawanda, NY, is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team!

Work 36 hours per week – get paid for 40! The schedule for this position is four days per week (Monday through Thursday) working nine hour shifts for a total of 36 hours. Four bonus hours are granted each week provided you work or use PTO totaling a minimum of 36 hours each week.
The Opportunity
Position Summary
Safely perform mechanical and electrical installation, repair work, trouble shooting, routine, and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform all phases of installation, maintenance repair and inspection of Electrical Power distribution systems and control systems.
· Perform electrical troubleshooting on AC & DC motor drives, distribution panels, solenoids, relays, and other related devices.
· Perform general maintenance on equipment to include PM’s, trouble shooting and installation of equipment.
· Maintain required maintenance logs.
· Order spare parts, replacement parts and other materials required through group leader.
· Follow all safety guidelines for lockout / tag out set forth by the company. Maintain clean, safe work area, by being efficient neat and organized.
· Other duties as necessary or assigned.
How Do I Qualify?
Position Requirements
· 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required. 10 – 15 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician in a high-speed manufacturing environment or technical environment, preferred.
· Valid driver’s license, required.
· Experience and knowledge to build panels, preferred.
· Industrial mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting experience, preferred.
· Experience with industrial controls, preferred.
· Experience with process instrumentation, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Able to diagnose, repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, manufacturing systems and controls.
· Good theoretical and applied understanding of mechanical and electrical theory, production line control, instrumentation, and the manufacturing process.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment.
- Basic computer skills
- Able to organize time effectively.
- Able to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment.
Physical Requirements/Abilities
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to work in a cold and hot environment and tolerate exposure to dust.
- Able to climb stairs.

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
