Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Maintenance and repair of company trailers:
-
Electrical repairs to lighting and marker systems
-
Maintenance and/or replacement of air or mechanical suspension
-
Maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems
-
Repair and maintenance of ABS systems
-
Maintenance and repair of company tractors:
-
Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, fluid level checks, and vehicle inspections
-
Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, chassis charts, and pressure gauges
-
Read and comprehend diagrams, schematics, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), manufacturer directions/instructions, and blueprints to complete assign/required work or repair orders

Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repair of diesel and gas engines, drive trains, braking systems, steering mechanisms, and electrical systems
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
-
Ability to read and comprehend SDS and manufacturer warnings, instructions for use and replacement of parts, operating instructions, complete a repair order
-
Proficiency in the use of basic hand tools such as hammers, saws, wrenches and pliers, torque wrenches, and air-powered equipment
-
Physical ability and dexterity to:
-
lift and carry up to 50 pounds
-
Climb to and working at heights of up to 15 feet
-
Complete a full workday walking and/or standing
-
Perform work from a wide range of positions including: standing, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, reclining, from scaffolding or ladders
-
Sufficient hand and arm strength to unpackage, install, or remove equipment parts, and use a 20-pound sledgehammer or other hand or powered tools
-
Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions

Conduct work responsibilities while exposed to dirt, dust and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklift, welding, painting, etc.
