HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL/GOLF OPERATIONS MANAGER

LOCATION: Located in North West Idaho at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. On the state line between Idaho and Washington with spectacular views of the Lewis and Clark Valley.
OPPORTUNITY:Golf Management Company seeks a Head Golf Professional/Golf Operations Manager for Bryden Canyon Golf Course in Lewiston, Idaho. Built in 1974, Bryden Canyon is a public golf course in Lewiston, Idaho. The Course itself has the perfect blend of risk and reward: many holes offer chances at birdie, but wayward shots can lead to strokes adding up quickly. Because of our location and climate in the LC Valley, we are the winter golf destination for those who find themselves covered in snow. With a dedicated and enthusiastic membership base, the Head Golf Professional role is a dynamic one and will be a direct contributor to the guest experience, in promoting company culture and to the overall success of the property.
POSITION PROFILE: The Head Golf Professional/Golf Operations Manager assists the General Manager in managing all aspects of the daily operations at Bryden Canyon Golf Course. This includes the hiring, training and managing of service staff including outside service and golf shop assistants. Success in this role will be measured by providing excellent service to our guest while helping to grow membership and program activity.
The Head Golf Professional must have excellent interpersonal skills, as he/she will interact with guests on a daily basis as well as manage a number of outside events including golf tournaments and other events.
The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for buying, displaying and selling of retail merchandise.
QUALIFICATIONS:PGA Class A or apprentice is preferred, but not required. One to 5 years’ experience as a Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional preferred.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Total compensation will be $18.00-$22.00 per hour plus up to an additional $10,000 in potential lesson income.
Benefits include: Shared health plan, PGA dues, vacation, cell phone expenses and approved education.
