Main Purpose
Norlite produces a lightweight aggregatematerial that is used in a variety of construction projects. The unique properties of Norlite’s aggregate contribute to making buildings safer, more environmentally friendly and more energy-efficient. As a result, many construction projects that use our product are able to achieve LEED certification as green buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Entry level laboratory duties
- Collection of daily aggregate samples and running all associated analysis on them.
- Collection of water samples and running all associated analysis on them when discharging such as pH, TSS, TDS, SS, DO, ORP, and Cl-
- Additional laboratory support in the areas of Drum Compatibility, Bomb Calorimetry, Sample digestion, Glassware and Standards preparation, administrative record keeping and other general laboratory duties.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be willing to work in an industrial setting with limited outside exposure and be willing to handle hazardous and non-hazardous wastes with appropriate PPE.
- A successful candidate will have minimum of High school diploma with strong scientific background.
- College courses or degree preferred in a science related field.
- Strong candidates will possess a great work ethic with the ability to work alone as well as in a group.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
