Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Middletown, R.I.
NOTE: Candidate needs to have a current L.N.H.A. (License Nursing Home Administrator) license in Rhode Island
As the Nursing Home Licensed Administrator/Executive Director the primary responsibility will be to provide coordination and oversight, HR duties and financial planning of the facility.
- Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to ensure quality care.
- Oversee the financial departments as well as review the operating and capital budgets.
- Oversee all employee relations to include recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, terminations, training, staff development and enforcement of policies and procedures.
- Review performance of current or recently implemented projects within the facility.
- Maintain, guide and enforce policies and procedures regarding resident care, personnel issues, medical care, financial operations, public relations, center maintenance and communicates such policies and procedures to staff and other parties.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights policies.
- Effectively communicate goals to achieve organizational objectives.
- Supervise all administrative and clinical functions in the facility.
- Monitor and Maintain facility's compliance with all pertinent State and Federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must have a current LNHA certification in Rhode Island
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in the nursing home industry.
- Experience in performance management and effective leadership
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
