Position Description:
The Plant Manager will direct and manage the activities of the Amlat facility. He/She will ensure all corporate and departmental policies are current and diligently followed. Drive excellence in all facets of the operation. Management experience of more than 20 people
Responsibilities:
Plant Operations
- Communicate and lead by emphasizing operational priorities:
o Employee Health and Safety
o Product Quality and Food Safety
o Productivity
Comply with government standards for food production process, and train employees,Standardize the operation of production line Ensure production safety training, and the participants sign.
- Develop, communicate and ensure team compliance with Amlat Health and Safety, Quality, Employment and Food Safety policies and regulations
- Manage, lead and motivate a multi-functional team
- Abide by confidentiality agreement/policy
Follow the financial application, declaration and approval process
Purchase processing partners, follow the contract and guarantee no financial risk according to the deposit order
- Meet daily, weekly, monthly and fiscal production, quality and cost criteria/targets, communicating and holding appropriate meetings as required
- Review and maintain inventory levels and production yields to meet standards relating to volume, cost and quality (in terms of industry, company and regulatory standards), liaising with all departments
- Design and maintain equipment and line functions to enhance Health & Safety, Product Quality & Food Safety, and Productivity
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws; business licenses, certifications, permits, government, labor laws, etc.
- Deliver corporate budgets as determined by working in conjunction with the CFO / VP of manufacturing
- provide financial analysis of current operations and future plans
Production cost of each category of production line, profit standard of the industry for sales
- Monitor any deviations from budget and take corrective action to meet established goals
- Establish and measure operational matrices
- Oversee plant security and the maintenance of the building’s integrity
- Maintain, emulate, and foster positive and professional working relationships with all members of the company
- Always remain customer-focused and ensure all team members have the same priority
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Human Resources
- Working with HR, maintain staffing levels and costs to meet varying production staffing levels and the employee retention goals, controlling employee turnover and hiring costs by reducing and eliminating turnover due to controllable reasons (such as poor supervisory practices or unfair treatment) and adhering to Company hiring policies, practices and guidelines
- Approve the staffing of all departmental positions established within the budgeting process and obtain approval to staff any non-authorized positions
- Establish department and direct reports’ performance standards/goals, helping ensure g their performance as meets or exceeds expectations as per the company’s Performance Management System
- Support processes established for hiring, performance management, training, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
