Provide support for land acquisition projects, landowner & invoice payment processing, records management, encroachments, and rights and obligations research related to real property. Perform administrative duties associated with general Land work including preparing agreements, letters, generating reports, handling mail and preparing and maintaining various Departmental files. Provide support and assistance to Landmen while creating a positive rapport and communication with other internal departments to ensure open workflow throughout the company. The ideal candidate must be flexible with strong interpersonal skills while able to effectively multi-task priorities and projects.
Performs a range of straightforward assignments. Exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to solve problems of moderate complexity; seeks assistance in resolving more complex issues.
Essential Job functions and Responsibilities

Providing Land support to all facets of Operations such as Drilling, Completions, Production, Regulatory, Construction and Planning

Research and verify data for preparation of basic land related documents, agreements, reports and correspondence.

Assemble and maintain Land Department well files.

Communicate with mineral owners, working interest owners and company brokers as concerns or questions arise.

Review and code Land invoices for approval.

Prepare Land related documents for management execution.

Ensure all documents have been filed in County of record.

Facilitate and coordinate negotiation and acquisition of surface leases, surface use agreements, right of way, facility agreements and other agreements in support of field operations.

Communicate with surface owners and with field operations personnel on an ongoing basis to address and resolve issues related to exploration, development, and production activities

Working with the Land Administration Department and Land support personnel to maintain Land Records

Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting multiple industry related agreements; including the management and compliance of agreements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge and application of land and negotiating principles, theories, and concepts; and have a wide understanding of how Land interacts, advises, and collaborates with geoscience, engineering, operations, legal, regulatory and other professional groups.

Qualifications and Skills
1-3 years of experience in oil and gas Land profession-
Proficient in: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word
