POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Financial Analyst, under the direction of the site Controller, applies accounting principles, practices and procedures to prepare and analyze all accounting and financial aspects of Capital Expenditure Projects and Fixed Assets. The individual will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, analysis of general ledger account balances and reconciliations, verifies accuracy and makes recommendations. To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
Essential Functions:
· Provide financial support and partner with Engineering, IT, R&D and Manufacturing in Capital Expenditure Projects preparation.
· Lead Fixed Assets capitalization and depreciation process.
· Assist site Controller in continuously improving the overall Fixed Assets process and cycle, from Capex creation to Fixed Assets capitalization.
· Creates and posts journal entries, ensuring that business transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with policy.
· Assists in preparing and analyzing monthly Actual Capex and Depreciation results, and creating future projections used in Budget and Business Forecast.
· Performs reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and verifies accuracy of statements.
· Prepares monthly and quarterly reports timely and accurately.
· Maintain appropriate internal control on Fixed Assets.
· Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervisor/management.
Position Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or work equivalent, field of study: finance, accounting or related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in a similar position/role.
· Continuous improvement mindset.
· Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Knowledge of accounting reporting and ERP systems (JD Edwards a plus).
· Knowledge of finance and accounting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements.
· Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively, upward to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences.
· Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills required; Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment; Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role is $71,500 to $ 86,500. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.the business.
