The opportunity: The Health Information and Imaging Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all medical records and radiology imaging CDs physically received at our PinnacleCare Baltimore, MD office. Radiology Imaging personnel successfully support all administrative activities associated with uploading and burning copies of diagnostic imaging studies and processing medical records in various formats. Work is performed in an open office environment at our PinnacleCare Baltimore, Maryland office.

How you will contribute:

• Gather all mail and other packages received daily in the Baltimore office, scanning, or delivering to the appropriate department or person as needed, including remote employees.
• Process Radiology CDs delivered to the office, upload to our database, test for accuracy, log available studies in patient’s chart, and communicate results with Advisory and Health Information Management teams.
• Process DICOM imaging files received in other formats, such as electronic file transfer or USB drive.
• Create imaging CDs containing select studies to be forwarded for Member appointments.
• Monitor the Integrity and protect the privacy of collected member health information.
• Perform ongoing quality checks, auditing and reporting of results as assigned.
• Identify, analyze, and sort medical records into appropriate patients’ chart as required.

What you will bring with you:

• Ability to work with a diverse range of people
• High School diploma, Associates degree in Health Information, Radiology, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Health Information Management or Radiology Imaging
• Experience with DICOM files, electronic medical records and scanning preferred
• Experience working with electronic medical records and radiology imaging
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Excellent communication, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Detail oriented and good time management skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong work ethic with dynamic team environment interaction skills

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:

• Southern region: $39,300-$53,000 annually
• Central region: $41,400-$55,900 annually
• Northern region: $44,300-$59,800 annually

If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $37,500-$50,600 annually.

If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $44,300-$59,800 annually.

If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $41,400-$55,900 annually.
