- Work schedule is typically Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Overtime is often available, not guaranteed and not forced to work

Job Tasks:
Under the direction of the Mold Shop Supervisor, develops, constructs, builds, repairs, and modifies fixtures, tooling, molds and machinery/processes to efficiently produce parts according to customer requirements.
- Obtains blueprint or produces sketches of required part(s) to be fabricated.
- Selects appropriate tools, materials, and processes required to complete tasks.
- Makes necessary shop calculations such as speeds, feeds, operational sequence, etc., from prints/sketches, and lays out work.
- Sets-up/operates precision machine tools to produce finished parts.
- Uses precision hand tools and/or measuring instruments to check the accuracy of completed jobs.
- Fits/assembles precision components where required.
- Helps develop, build and install tooling/machinery to improve overall performance of departmental production.
- Improves and adapts processes in-place and develops new process for efficient production of customer parts.
- Provides training to precision machine operators, apprentices, and is a resource for peers.
- Performs maintenance of departmental machinery per the requirements of operators and area managers.
- Follow-up on work performed to ensure it meets customer’s satisfaction.
- Maintains a team-oriented attitude and is a positive representative of the Toolroom.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and observes all safety policies and procedures.
Experience:
- Must have completed an approved apprenticeship program or have equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Injection molding experience a plus.
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Vocational School
