We are looking for the right person to join our rapidly growing Psychiatry team in Rockland County. Under the direction of the MD the Clinical Psychologist will perform psychological services for patients of all ages. The Clinical Psychologist will provide assessments, crisis intervention, individual/group psychotherapy, psychological testing.

Qualifications -

- Doctorate level in psychology - Minimum of 3 years mental health experience - Licensure in NYS - Other certifications as required.

Essential Tasks -

Conducts clinical interviews of patients, families and significant others to obtain information on personal, social, emotional, medical and family history in order to complete social work assessment. Actively participates in department meetings to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment plan of care for patient. Provides psychoeducation and crisis intervention to patients and families utilizing individual treatment modalities. Communicates with Providers to monitor patient's progress. Maintains patient's records in complaince with all applicable standards.
