United Talent Agency, a leading talent agency based in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a Head of Data Platforms for our UTA Ventures group. The Head of Data Platforms is a hands-on role that will work with the broader UTA Ventures, Technology and Data Science teams and is responsible for defining products, analyzing the competitive landscape, and providing data insights along with supportive data to business teams across UTA Ventures to help shape our strategic investments across our venture, private equity and brand investments and develop a world class data pipeline for platform level data analytics to support our investments and brands
The salary range for this role is $225,000 to $250,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

B.S./B.A. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Master’s degree is preferred
5 - 6+ years experience and proficiency in Python, SQL, batch ETL, data modeling
Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning (such as with R, Python) writing, managing and deploying code
Familiarity with Apache Airflow
Familiarity with REST, web services, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Experience in areas like Operations Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics and Marketing Analytics
Experience working with unstructured and ambiguous datasets
Experience in data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
Experience in SQL for complex querying, analysis, performance optimization, and persisting data
Comfort with high volumes of unstructured and structured data, with the ability to leverage multiple datasets to draw both granular and big picture conclusions
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across the organization to define and build actionable products
Experience in summarizing analysis into succinct written briefs/presentations
Knowledge of and ability to stay current on industry and technology trends along with the ability to quickly learn new tools and software.
Experience with event tracking and analytics tools such as Segment, Google Analytics, etc.
Knowledge of venture capital, private equity, media, culture, and start-ups
Excellent academic track record from top-tier university
Team player, proactive, results-oriented, problem-solver, strategic thinker, highly organized, flexible, strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage with clients, agents, management, legal and senior leadership
Strong passion for entrepreneurship
