We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) witha strong entrepreneurial spirit to help us expand our patient identification portfolio beyond thehospital into fast growing non-acute markets (Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Imaging Centers, SkilledNursing Homes, and others). The BDM will be the lead voice to advocate for the end users, andpurchasing decision makers, an inspiring leader for the department and creator and champion of thevision for our long-term growth strategy.An effective BDM for the healthcare market will have the skills necessary to build long-standing andsuccessful relationships with key distributors, dealers and direct customers in the non-acute sector.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Extensive Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry - REQUIRED
  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for expansion into non-acute markets andcommunicate it effectively and passionately across the company.
  • Be the PDC brand advocate and spokesperson to help grow market share and brandrecognition in the non-acute healthcare sector.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, and work with Product Management team to develop productsfor non-acute customers based on their current and unmet needs.
  • Focus externally, creating a deep understanding of market and technology trends, competitiveintelligence, and key influencers.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications, Digital and Sales teams to align efforts andeffectively position and message PDC and our portfolio of products by demonstrating uniquevalue propositions to customers in non-acute space. Develop and launch marketing programsto meet sales forecasts and profit objectives.
  • Interface with partners, customers, and industry leaders to champion the voice of thecustomer within the organization and drive customer and market research initiatives thatinform long-term growth strategy.
  • Build partnerships and strategic alliances that allow higher level engagement with keystakeholders that will expand PDC position and support our value and growth.
  • Ability to travel extensively including weekends, as necessary Minimum travel Requirement: 50%.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Expertise in business development and / or related experience in sales, strategic planning,product marketing, brand management, and / or performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated excellence as a self-starter who has experience leading teams in a high growthenvironment, including P+L responsibility.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and ability to operate effectively in bothtactical and strategic capacities – you can comfortably adjust your altitude and roll-up yoursleeves as needed.
  • Ability to lead and inspire across solid and dotted lines.
  • Engaging communicator and presenter/ English fluency.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; MBA a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare space is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a track record in increasing sales volume.

  • Ability to travel extensively including weekends, as necessary Minimum travel Requirement: 50%.

  • Fluid ability to speak/write/communicate in English

Annual Salary Range:

$127,400 - $159,300
