This simply lovely carol by Nigel Springthorpe, with its unusual changes in tempo, exists in versions both for pedal and lever harps.
For the pedal harp it forms no 3 of Three Christmas Pieces for Harp.
Nigel Springthorpe is a conductor, composer and musicologist with a career in music education.
A grade and diploma examiner for Trinity College London since 1997, and with teaching experience also at Tertiary level, Nigel was appointed Head of Junior Music Courses at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in December 2018.
Nigel is now a freelence examiner, adjudicator, composer and consultant.
