Port Alsworth is a small remote village inside Lake Clark National Park without any road access. Air service is a critical part of life here and it is important that we provide safe aircraft for these needs. The natural beauty and isolation make this a popular tourist destination and a major part of the local economy comes from the Lodges, hunting, fishing, and tourist industry.
Our mechanics often have the opportunities for ‘fun’ projects or activities between our 135 projects, or in their free time including;
- Stinson rebuild projects (Reliant Jr. 108, 10A)
- Fly out maintenance to remote lakes and areas of Alaska
- Float Plane adventures
- Exploring the Beauty of Lake Clark (boat by summer, snow machine by winter)
- Access to our Flight School, land and seaplane rentals
